Responsibilities* Cleaning patient's teeth, x-rays, periodontal charting and managing patient recall system. Managing patient recall system and sending out recall cards. Coordinate Research projects and contacting patients. Screening patients for research projects which may include taking probing depths in patient's mouth. Monitoring research related activities. (Examples include, but are not limited to, communication with the IRB, submission of research applications to the IRB for review and approval. In addition, the responsibility of reporting adverse effects with the Pl and IRB etc.) Required Qualifications* Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program. A current hygiene license to practice in the State of Michigan. Licensed in administration of Nitrous Oxide and Local Anesthesia. Current CPR Certification. Knowledge of OSEH and HIPAA regularions Must be well-versed in Microsoft Office. Experience wth EHR. Excellent communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent ability to multi task. Excellent attendance record. Excellent customer service skills. Desired Qualifications* Knowledge of MiDENT (Axium). Previous research experience. Knowledge of the School of Dentistry and University of Michigan policies and procedures.
