Position Overview **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., Department of General Dental Sciences invites applications for a full-time, tenure track/clinical track faculty position in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology available immediately (starting date negotiable). MUSOD is well known for its innovative curriculum. The School is serving the community on its main campus in Milwaukee and in outreach clinics across the State of Wisconsin. Duties and Responsibilities The primary responsibility for this position is to provide leadership in directing MUSoD’s curriculum in oral and maxillofacial radiology at both the pre-doctoral and postgraduate levels. This position reports directly to the Chair of the Department of General Dental Sciences and collaborates with the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies for postgraduate programming. Teaching and Service responsibilities include: • All pre-doctoral radiology courses • All postgraduate radiology courses. • Provide radiographic interpretation and diagnosis for intraoral, panoramic, and cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) images. • Provide oral radiology consultations and support for patients in our pre-doctoral and specialty clinics. • Participate in Dental Rounds. • Participate in/or conduct research projects. • Supervision of the Oral Radiology Clinic including 3 support participating faculty. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Earned doctorate or a terminal degree. Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence and high quality research. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferences will be given to candidates who are graduates from an appropriate advanced education program in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, and should be board eligible or board certified as appropriate. Qualified applicants must have a DMD/DDS degree from a US or Canadian dental school recognized by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation or a comparable foreign degree. Applicants must hold a valid dental license in some state or jurisdiction and be eligible for a regular license or faculty license in the State of Wisconsin.
