Assures that patients are treated with concern and that providers are provided with prompt and courteous service.Performs duties to provide the highest level of patient care and maximize patient satisfaction.Reports to the Operations Manager.\r\rMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\r1. *Performs the duties of a Clinic RN and serves as a role model in the delivery of quality patient care. Functions as a resource person for clinic support staff.2. *Provides direct supervision to assigned personnel, assists with orientation and integration of new employees, building a sense of pride in employees and promoting good morale in collaboration with the Clinic Nurse Educator.3. *Coordinates the daily activities of the clinical and clerical support staff, ensuring adequate staff coverage by developing staff schedules and adjusting to meet daily volumes.4. *Monitors daily Provider templates and makes adjustments as necessary (ie. Blocking, appropriate slot utilization, etc.).5. *Recommends and implements changes to improve overall efficiency, effectively utilizing problem resolution skills.6. *Establishes and maintains interpersonal relationships with patients, visitors, and hospital and clinic personnel while assuring patient confidentiality of patient information both written and automated.7. *Coordinates activities with other sections and departments. Acts as a liaison with other groups, both internal and external entities.8. *Tracks and resolves patient concerns, in conjunction with the physician and administrative leadership.9. Performs other duties as required or assigned for emergency or operational reasons for which the employee is qualified to perform.*Denotes essential job functions \r\rSPECIFIC POSITION DUTIES:\r\r\rCOMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:\rDemonstrates flexibility in response to unexpected changes in workload, staffing and scheduling.Demonstrates ability to work independently, set priorities, multi task and provide problem resolution.Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide leadership, effective communication, problem solving and implementation of change.Demonstrates detailed knowledge of Medical Records, scheduling, registration and secretarial procedures.Demonstrates leadership skills and ability to foster good interpersonal relationships.Demonstrates understanding of office systems, patient flow and nursing procedures.\r\rEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:\rCurrent Pennsylvania RN license, ACLS and BLS certification required.Minimum one year experience in a clinical setting required.
