Oral Surgery Jobs description
Oral surgery jobs are done by oral and maxillofacial surgeons who are dentists. They work on treating conditions where the jaws are misaligned, and other defects, injuries and aesthetic dental aspects. They have to go through for a four-year dental graduate degree and another four-year residency program in surgery. Their main work is basically treating victims of facial injuries and related reconstructive surgery. Most of the oral surgery jobs are found in the U.S. Army Dental Corps.The Civilian Corps of the United States Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) is another good source of oral surgery jobs since the pay and benefits are good and the work stable and rewarding. The health insurance and leave policy is recognized as being generous. Oral surgery jobs are also available in state run medical centers and among private hospitals on the East Coast and other major cities where most oral and maxillofacial surgeons are located.
